Five Fall Wardrobe Staples for Teachers

Teachers don’t have to let the students have all the fun when it comes to back-to-school fashion! Today we have five FALL wardrobe must-haves for teachers because believe it or not fall is coming. With these staple pieces, you are sure to create stylish and professional outfits every single time that are appropriate for the classroom and the fall season!

• A shacket or cardigan.  Bring on the layers! We see this trend every year: layers, layers, layers, and we love it. This year, we’re taking layers beyond cardigans and adding shackets to the mix! Shackets (or shirt-jacket hybrids) have made their way into our hearts and closets. These two pieces help transition your summer dresses and tops into a more fall-appropriate outfit. Another thing we love about a cardigan or shacket is its ability to stretch your wardrobe and take your warmer-season pieces into September and October. • Black Joggers. Black joggers can go a long way in a wardrobe if you get the right pair - and yes, they can be teacher appropriate! You want to get a pair that’s not too slouchy and can easily be dressed up with heels or booties. Black joggers are so versatile because they look just as cute with a graphic tee as they do with a feminine blouse. • Skirts. Whether you choose a patterned, plain, a-line or pencil style, a good skirt is a must-have for teachers. We have so many adorable skirts and what we love is how versatile all of them can be. Skirts are no longer only being paired with a fancy blouse, pair it with a graphic tee for an edgier, trendy vibe. Plus you can switch your shoes from a flat to a sneaker to create a more casual vibe. You could also pair your skirt with a pair of wedges or booties for something a little fancier.
