MSC X Everyday Ellis Edit
It's been a dream of the MSC team to collaborate with one of our favorite and biggest hype-girls out there on the internet, and this January, we finally made it happen! We're so excited to introduce the MSC X Everyday Ellis Edit - a collection curated by our friend, Karli Ellis who blogs at EverydayEllis.com!
Karli shares outfit ideas, style tips, and how to celebrate the every day life in style and has been a huge support and customer of MSC for years. We love how she approaches style; she believes in getting the most out of your closet by mixing and matching your pieces and styling them multiple ways. Working with Karli to bring a collection to MSC that combined her sense of style with our high quality and affordable pieces seemed like a no-brainer and we're so excited we finally made it happen.
Karli came to the MSC warehouse to look through a few shipments that we had received and picked out a few of her favorite pieces to start her collection with. Then, she worked with our owner, Sarah, to search for pieces to fill in the gaps and had them ordered. Karli choose each item with a specific purpose in mind and made sure that each item could be mixed and matched with other pieces so that you could get multiple outfits out of her collection! It's honestly a dream capsule wardrobe perfect for transitioning to spring - there are pieces to keep you warm in the early spring and pieces to keep you cool as spring turns to summer!
Matching Sets are such a popular and comfortable trend and it was important to Karli to include at least one matching set in her collection and possibly two! We made sure to make her matching set dreams come true with the Lexi Floral set and the Celebrate Navy set - which she helped shop for. The best part about the matching sets in Karli's collection is that the top and bottoms mix and match so well with other pieces! You can pair the top of the Celebrate Navy set under the Ellis Jumper Dress or the Feelin' Good graphic tee with the Lexi Floral Joggers! Like Karli, we believe in making sure it is easy and effortless to put outfits together and to get the most out of your closet!
We also love the color palette Karli chose for this collection because they are colors are very on trend for Spring 2021. There are neutrals, soft greens, and a shade of coral that has rust undertones. These colors are a nice change of pace from the typical spring pastels that we normally see, and allows you to get more wear out of these pieces throughout the year!
