Spring Dresses for a Wedding Guest
The time has changed and the weather’s warming up! It’s safe to say it’s finally spring! That also means wedding season has officially started and spring weddings are giving us the perfect excuse to fill our closets with beautiful and colorful dresses. Spring is the time for pastel colors and less of a black-tie dress code at weddings and we’re here to make sure you have the perfect attire to wear for the next spring wedding you attend!
- Let’s talk about color palette first. We have seen a consistent love of colors during spring; both bold and pastels. When attending a spring wedding, it’s okay to say no to your usual neutral color scheme and go for something with more color! Our favorite spring colors this year are sage green, robin egg blue, lavender, and blush pink!

When choosing a silhouette, we recommend picking something that hangs loose and has flowy movement, like a babydoll dress or a fit and flare shape. Try to steer clear of a body con or fitted dress, unless the venue is very high-end. (If this is the case, cling on to rule #1 and add color)
- Make sure you consider the fabric because while we all love velvet and lush fabrics, a spring wedding is not the time or place for that. If you want a more polished fabric, reach for silk or a swiss dot fabric because those fabrics definitely have more of a warm weather vibe to it.
