Constructed from black synthetic rubber, the cover is resistant to oil, abrasion and weather, and is color-coded for easy identification. Two sequential braids of steel line the tube providing flexibility and a tighter minimum bend radius. This inner tube is made of oil-resistant synthetic rubber and can withstand a wide range of temperatures from -40F to +212F. For fast and smooth installation, this Gates hose can be attached using a range of couplings that meet DOT specifications.
