I bought the Launchpad a year ago, and used it with Ableton Live 10, and with a range of iPad music apps it runs on bus power! You just need a regular Camera Connector Cable. But in more recent times I found that it also works, perhaps even more fluently, as a controller with FL Studio 20. Indeed, one of the pre-built templates you get with FL is for a Launchpad layout with an 8 x 8 grid. In my picture you see how it looks with the default Launchpad template loaded. From there, just make sure you have the Launchpad recognised in the MIDI settings, and you are away! I have also gotten a lot of value out of the Launchpad using it in the Melodics app, where it's great for learning drum pads.I am only selling the unit because I'm thinking of getting one of the larger Launchpads. This one is still just fine. The build quality is amazing. I would never hesitate over buying Novation hardware in the future.
